In addition, it could explain the association with Mechizedek or righteous king because theoretically, Jesus would be connected with the High Priest dynasties.

If these connections were right, then they represent a clear connection between early Christians and the Dead Sea scrolls community. More importantly, the parents of Mary connect to the Onias dynasty, which some scholars link to the Qumran teacher of righteousness. What is very intriguing is that the Bahai genealogy uses Luke's proposition for Joseph ancestry but the line of Mary seems gospel independent.
